step 03 · learn

start your first workshop

You have Claude Code and the workshops installed. From here the agent does the guiding — you just tell it what you want to learn.

tell Claude Code what you want

Go to your ~/learning-with-court folder and start Claude Code. That is the claude command in your terminal, not the Claude app.

terminal
$ cd ~/learning-with-court
$ claude

Once Claude Code is running, tell it what you want to learn, in plain English. Any of these works:

Claude Code
start a workshop
teach me about LLM evals
I'd like to learn how to build an MCP server

However you phrase it, the plugin lists what's available, asks which one you want, installs it into a subfolder, and walks you through it one step at a time. You don't have to memorize any commands.

what to expect

once the workshop starts

On Windows, make sure Git for Windows is installed — Claude Code uses it behind the scenes to run the workshops' Bash steps. You never open Git Bash yourself. It comes with /terminal, so if you followed the earlier steps you already have it.

the setup path

you're all set

That's the whole setup. Start a workshop above and Claude Code takes it from here.
